This year the people on my Christmas list will get a hand made oval box, either cedar or poplar (my choice). I followed directions that I found in a magazine.

Howdy, I'm a divorced male, almost 50, and have a teenage son. I have secondary visitation. In my youth I was a decent gymnast and fair violin player. As an adult I dabble at guitar, banjo, and piano. Haven't touched the violin in nearly 20 years. My career is as a computer programmer, and requires working at a computer behind a desk. After many years of that I got a little soft, so I started to cut down trees in my spare time. That allowed me to get in better shape and earn money doing it. Then I started Tae Kwon Do in January 2000. I received the third degree black belt in December 2008. I'm still a little soft, but much better off than if I had done nothing. I love to work with my hands and restore things if possible, rather than buy new things. I enjoy woodworking and learning new things. One day I would like to have a log home that I build myself, and furnish it with furniture I build myself. Ambitious, but I still think about it.
